Welcome to the Export Pro documentation! Export Pro is a powerful Confluence app that exports pages to multiple formats with real-time progress tracking and streaming download capabilities.

Introduction#
Export Pro brings powerful export capabilities to Confluence Cloud. Export single pages, page hierarchies, or entire spaces to various formats including Markdown, HTML, Storage format, and raw ADF (Atlassian Document Format).
Unlike basic export tools, Export Pro provides:
- Multiple output formats - Markdown, HTML, Storage (XHTML), and ADF (JSON)
- Flexible export scopes - Single pages, page trees, or entire spaces
- Real-time progress tracking - Live metrics and progress visualization
- Streaming downloads - Efficient handling of large exports

Installation#
Follow this straightforward guide to install Export Pro on your Confluence Cloud instance.
- Access Atlassian Marketplace: Log in to your Confluence Cloud instance and navigate to
Apps>Explore more apps. - Search for Export Pro: Type “Export Pro” in the search bar and open the app.
- Install & Confirm: Click
Get appand confirm any prompts. - Access Export Pro: After installation, open any Confluence page and access Export Pro from the page actions menu.
Quick Start#
Exporting Your First Page#
- Navigate to any Confluence page you want to export
- Open the page actions menu (three dots) and select Export Pro
- Step 1 - Select Scope: Choose “Current Page Only”
- Step 2 - Select Formats: Ensure “Markdown” is selected (default)
- Step 3 - Options: Configure any desired options
- Click Start Export
- The file will download directly as
<page-title>.md
Example: Export with Metadata#
To export a page with YAML frontmatter metadata:
- Open the Export Pro dialog
- Select your desired scope and format
- In Step 3, enable Include Frontmatter
- Click Start Export
Your exported Markdown will include:
